I'm Kal Hooto
I was born in Georgia the year of 1997. After graduating high school I spent 6 years in the United States Navy as a Fire Controlman. Once I got out I spent some time in Florida where I developed a love for high end glass art and the many ancillaries associated with it. Soon after I returned to my home state of Georgia where I started working an industrial maintenance job that introduced me to metalworking and afforded me the space to explore ideas and create to my hearts content. What came from that was One Stick Pony, my first real attempt at creating and marketing dab tools. Since then I have officially rebranded as Kal Hooto Creations and have also branched out from dab tools to include other small trinkets in my lineup of work including wearable pendants, spheres, junior dabbers and beads.
Today my work features metals and materials including brass, stainless steel, micarta, G10, crushed opal, titanium and even exotics like mokuti and zircuti.
